A MINI HIDDEN UNDER THE DAISIES

Hello everyone!

I thought, but what if, instead of the bouquet of flowers, I gave a nice mini all covered with soft white daisies on the cover?! I also put a small tag similar to what the florist usually puts among the flowers. So the idea for this project was born! A MINI HIDDEN UNDER A PILE OF DAISIES!

The structure is an accordion book, made with the envelopes obtained from the *Gift Card Holder* die, so that you can put as many photos as possible.

First I punched 7 gift cards using the new *Spring Flowers* paper collection and for each I glued the side flaps inside to obtain the 7 envelopes. Then I cut away the small tongue of each envelope that serves to close it and that I do not need. At this point I glued the envelopes together creating an accordion in this way: I took the 1st envelope and put a strip of double-sided tape on the white part of the flap (being rather close to the fold) and I glued it on the bottom of the 2nd envelope (the part with the cut slot), this will create an additional pocket in which to insert tags or photos. Again, but this time on the flap of the 2nd envelope, I always put the double-sided tape on the white inside part of the flap and I always glued it on the bottom but this time of the 3rd envelope; again, the 3rd envelope flap glued on the lower part of the 4th and so on until the end obtaining the accordion. Don’t worry! It’s harder said than done!

For the cover I cut a strip of *Vellum* of 23 x 10.5 cm, and I folded on the long side at: 5.4 cm - 6.7 cm - 14.3 cm and finally at 15.6 cm. I cut the left part of the cover (the one measuring 5.4 cm) in a semicircle being flush with the edge. I advise you to help yourself with the shape of the gift card holder. At this point I glued the accordion to the cover in the section measuring 7.5 cm wide.

With the *Daisy* die set in the 3 sizes, I created the daisies and dabbed the center with the Distress Fossilized Amber. I glued them on both covers. Since the right part will remain partially under the semicircle part, I made sure that some daisies were flatter and that they didn’t impede the opening of the mini.

For the closure I chose two magnets glued one under a daisy on the left side and one under the corresponding daisy (the flattest of all!) of the cover on the right. Between the two covers I put a blue tag made with the *Postage Bits* die set and the coordinated clear stamps set.

Finally, for the inside embellishments I used the *Postage Bits* tags and stamps, the “must have” *Banner* and the rectangles of the *Dashing Rectangles*. For the journaling I chose the stamp set *Per Te* embossed in silver.

Here it is, the mini hidden under the daisies is finished!
