“ALBU-Mini” KEYCHAINS

Girls! It seems soon but... it's time to think about Christmas!

Probably for some it may seem premature, but if you don't want to be caught unprepared this is the time to get busy!

I did it and I made the first gifts for my friends, the ALBU-Mini KEYCHAINS that, as the name says, (what a fantasy eheh ?!) are nothing more than really mini-mini albums, in fact they measure about 5,5 x 5,5 x 4.5 cm.

First of all I created the binding: I cut the *Scoring Binder* die twice (The two die cuts must be 2.5 cm high, as the spine), and I joined them because they can get 6 flaps.

For the 6 pages I used 12 pentagonal die cuts, obtained from the *Candy Box* die set: I glued them two by two to the single flaps. I chose the *Xmas LE* collections, the *Merry and Bright* and also the special paper *Garzato Trasparente*. To embellish them I used the *Merry and Bright* stickers and some sequins.

I cut 9 cm of a 2.5 cm high fabric webbing (like the spine of the mini). You can also use a ribbon, it’s important that it has the same height as the back, which in my case is 2.5 cm. I inserted the eyelet and a thick and strong string to which I added the beads and the key ring. Then I glued the back of the album centering it on the fabric webbing.

At this point I created the cover: from the thick cardboard I got 2 pentagons 0.4 cm larger than the inside pages. I covered them, first with patterned paper and then with the special paper *Garzato Trasparente*, to protect and make the keychain more resistant. I decorated them with *Mistletoe Wreath* die and the initials (*Funny Alphabet* die set) of the recipient of my MINI gift. I put the eyelets on both covers to be able to close the mini a string.

Finally I glued the webbing, that protrudes from the back, with the two covers and I finished the back of the covers with patterned paper cut to size. I hope the tutorial is clear and that you like the ALBU-Mini KEYCHAINS!
