BEE ALBUM

Hello everyone!

Today I show you the mini album I made using the new spring release ModaScrap.

It's an hexagonal album inspired by bees and honey, as you can guess from the all yellow cover! Always to stay on the subject, to bind it I used the "spoon" for honey, the technique is called "Piano Hinge Binding", you know it for sure, it is the one in which bamboo sticks are usually used.

To "lock" the binding, I simply wrapped a twine cord around the wooden handle, to which I also knotted an adorable mini tassel... obviously yellow like honey!

For the inside I used various colors of PASTEL DOUBLE FACE PAPER: all the pages are made with the largest size of the DASHING HEXAGONS die set, while I used the smaller sizes for the bases on which the various photos will go, and the SAVE THE BEES die to decorate them and create a texture.

On some pages I have added an hexagon of VELLUM FOIL HEXAGONS HOLOGRAPHICS, which lifts or rotates (I applied a brad) so that you can put the photo underneath.

To complete the decorations I used the BANNER die and for a touch of light, with the WAX PEN ModaScrap, I added here and there the PEARL DROPS also by ModaScrap.
