BEE CARDS

Marie Nicole
Hello! I am a wife, mama, and cardmaker.
I've been creating and cardmaking for over 10 years now, and I still love it! I live in California, USA with my family and have been enjoying the sunshine here! As mentioned, cardmaking is my crafty love, but I also do memory planners, albums, and other papercrafts.
Sito WebHello!
Marie here, and I am so excited to sharing here with ModaScrap. For today’s card, I used the hexagon dies to cut a hexagon-shaped card. I simply folded my paper in half, left one edge off of my die cutting platform, and then cut. This left me with a top-folding hexagon card.
I then used some of the new dies and stamps to decorate my card. I stamped a smaller hexagon shape to layer onto my card after stamping the checkered pattern onto it. I also cut out the beehive shape, and turned it into a cute little shaker window. The sentiment was stamped, and then I added the cute little bees around the hive.
The wings on the bees are made from die cutting some parchment paper and I folded it in half before adhering. I finished the card by adding some of the flat-backed pearl embellishments and a bit of twine tied in a bow.
I am completely in love with the new bee-themed items and I love how this card turned out! Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, Marie Nicole.
