BEE SHAKER CARD
Marie Nicole
Hello! I am a wife, mama, and cardmaker.
I've been creating and cardmaking for over 10 years now, and I still love it! I live in California, USA with my family and have been enjoying the sunshine here! As mentioned, cardmaking is my crafty love, but I also do memory planners, albums, and other papercrafts.
Sito WebHello, crafty friends!
It’s Marie here again with another fun card for ModaScrap. I created this one using a few of their bee-themed items.
I began by cutting out the hexagon pattern on my card front using the Save The Bees background die. I then did some ink blending over my card, using a few different yellows to add color.
I knew I wanted to make this a shaker card, so I added a piece of acetate to the backside of my card front and the added foam adhesive around the window openings. I then filled the shaker window with sequins. I used ModaScrap’s Honey Yellow sequins to fill my shaker card.
The front was then decorated with some flower cut outs from the papers, Let Your Soul Bloom. I added some die cut bees here and there as well, to make it look like they were buzzing around the flowers.
The sentiment is a combination of the Amore die and a stamp from the Bee Happy stamp set. I love how all these items work together to create a fun card that anyone would love!
Marie Nicole.
