LOVE EUSKADI
María Ares Espiñeira
Hello!
My name is María and on Instagram you can find me as @a_vuelapluma.
I am a chemist by career but since I was very young I have always loved crafts. About 5 years ago I discovered scrap, and I fell in love forever. Not only does it allow me to develop all those techniques that I like so much, but it also brings together another of my great passions: photography and the desire to somehow retain the memories of our lives.
As for my style, I think if I had to use a single word, I would borrow it from my mother and say "clean." My mother is a dressmaker and since I was a child, without her barely realizing it, she taught me to combine colors, patterns, textures, ... and she started me in love for white, which is also a constant in my work.
Sito WebHello!
I'm María, on Instagram @a_vuelapluma, and I'm delighted to be on the ModaScrap blog as a guest designer, and to present this mini-album that I made with the “Save the bees” collection and a basic wooden paper that combines perfectly.
Inside, I created two structures full of fold-outs and pockets to store photos, memories..., which gives it a large capacity despite its small size.
In the decoration of the cover, I used the die with the word "love" as the main element, punching the base out of basic cardboard several times to give it thickness and make it stand out more. As the only ornament, I used the flowers made with the “zinnia” die that, depending on how we work them, have a completely different appearance.
I hope you like the project and that it inspires you.
Maria.
