MACRAME MINI ALBUM

Hello everyone!

Making a mini album dedicated to Christmas is now a tradition for me. Usually I leave empty spaces for photos so then I can calmly choose the ones that are most meaningful for me! In this mini I have put a few old photos chosen by my children.

To make the cover I punched the smallest size of the DREAMCATCHER die 3 times and glued them one on top of the other to give thickness; then with 19 pieces of cotton for macramé (thickness 0.5 cm), about 12 cm long, I made the "frame". With the acetate I created a kind of shaker with stars and trees inside. On the cover I put the words JOY stamped on 1 mm VEGETABLE CARDBOARD and cut by hand, and the sprig of mistletoe I cut from the cover of the SUDTIROL ORIGINS paper collection.

The inside pages are simply bound with a ring, so you can add more very easily.

To make them, I chose the SUDTIROL ORIGINS paper collection. As a base I used the largest size (13.4 cm) of the DASHING CIRCLES die and then I punched them with the WINTER FRAME die to create some kind of shaker: for some I used 3d foam tape and the acetate, for othersI used the tulle.

On one page I created a pocket with fringes, in which to insert many photos. On another page I created a flap that opens upwards: I glued a wooden button to it and covered it with fringes because, considering the tartan pattern of the paper, I wanted it to be a little reminiscent of warm plaids typical of Sudtirol.

Also under the flap there is a pocket that is always useful when there are many photos.

To complete the various pages, I added die-cuts of twigs from the WINTER GREENERY set, the writings cut from the sheet of the paper collection, and bows and sequins here and there.
