MILK BOX GIFT

Hi creative girls!

At this time I'm thinking about gifts to give to both teachers and children, now it's close to the end of school so we better get ahead of the game.

When I saw the new "Milk Box" die my eyes sparkled, because it is nice and big and can hold so many nice little things such as notebooks, as in the case I am showing you today, but also pencils, colored crayons, lots of candy and much more.

As I told you the box is nice and roomy, measuring 5 x 6.3 and 14 cm high, and it allowed me to put in 4 little notebooks that measure about 5.8 x 10.5 cm. Let's see together how to make them.

To make the box, I combined two strips of different papers measuring 10.5 x 30 cm (I chose the “Double Face the Pastel Sky” and the “Wild Flower 03”) resulting in a single piece measuring about 20.5x30 cm, and I die-cut twice, always keeping the top of the die (the one with the 2 little holes) on the plain blue pattern and the bottom part of the box on the striped pattern.

Once the box was assembled, I decorated it with the cow's snout using the new “Animal Box Horse Zebra Add On” die and with the word "Milk" found along with the Milk Box.

To make the notebooks I used 4 pieces of cardstock for the covers, “Duoble Face Pastel Sky” and “White Woodstock Cardstock”, measuring 11.6 x 10.5 cm (folding the 11.6 side in half) and for the pages I printed out white checkered and ruled sheets (you can find many templates on the web to download and print for free) I cut them to 11.4 x 10.3 cm and folded them in half. Once the pages were tucked inside their respective covers, I punched two holes on each spine and used thread to bind the notebooks.

To decorate them I chose "Prehistoric Leaves"die and various snouts:

"Animal Box Horse Zebra Add On" die to make the cow;

"Animal Box Lion Giraffe Add On" die for the giraffe and the lion;

"Animal Box" die for the teddy bear.

Now just put the little notebooks inside the box with a pen and paper clips, and the Milk Box Gift is ready to be given as a gift!
