PARTY MATCHBOX

Hello!

Summer has arrived and with it also its joy, the holidays and of course also its 35 degrees in the shade! So now how about freshening up and relaxing with a nice party? Martina made the invitations, I bring cocktails, drinks and popsicles!

For adults I propose Caipiroska with watermelon, Spritz or even a Blue Lagoon, while for the little ones, of course the orange or watermelon flavored popsicles! These boxes, filled with candies, in my opinion, are ideal for a nice party in the garden!

Making them is easy! I used the *Matchbox* die and the *Crazy Summer* collection. I chose the orange and red colors that most reminded me of popsicles or cocktails, but nothing prevents you from indulging yourself also with the other beautiful patterns.

The green could be a mint popsicle or a nice kiwi juice, the blue one is definitely the anise popsicle or a Blue Lagoon and why not, the fantasy with the leaves could not be a nice mojito!?

After assembling the boxes, simply insert them into the crack or a straw to make them into cocktails or a wooden stick to turn them into colorful popsicles.

To stay on topic I used the stamps of the *Party Time* set and the writing "You’re so sweet" from the *Postage Summer* set. Then add orange slices, watermelon wedges, popsicles cut from the pattern sheets and you're done! Fill them with candy and let the party begin!

Ah, I forgot the inevitable 80's umbrella and the paper rosettes! I leave you the measurements and a video tutorial to make them:

- for the umbrella the paper strip must be 19 x 3 cm with folds every ¼ of an inch

- for the paper rosettes the paper strip must be 15 x 1.5 cm with folds every ¼ of an inch.
