POSTAGE SUMMER CARD

Hello, creative friends!

I am sharing a fun and tropical card today that I created using the Postage Summer stamp set. This set is a small one but so cute! All of the summery images made me want to create a card with a tropical beach feel.

I began by stamping all the images multiple times and then coloring them in with alcohol markers. Then, I fussy cut all the pieces so I could layer them onto my card front.

I masked off a circle area of my card front, as well as some lines across the circle. Then, I ink blended a sunset using orange, yellow, and red inks. When I peeled the masking paper off, I was left with a golden sunset!

I then added all of my stamped and fussy cut images around the bottom half of the sunset. Most images are glued down with liquid glue, and some are popped up on foam adhesive.

Lastly, I added the sentiments that I stamped, cut, and added with foam adhesive. I then added many sequins for more shine, using my wax pen to place the sequins easily where I wanted them to go.

I hope you enjoy today’s card! I have it displayed in my craft room and it always makes me smile when I see its bright colors.
