SIX POCKET ALBUMS

SIX POCKET ALBUMS

Steffi Ried

Hi I'm Steffi, I'm a German girl and I would say my big passion is my love for paper craft, photography and colours!

All these things have accompanied me all my life. I started scrapbooking in 2012 and I love to play with all the beautiful patterned papers, embellishments and watercolors.

My layouts, mini albums and photos are mostly about my little girl, our travels and the little moments in my life.

I am Steffi Ried and I am HAPPY to show you my projects with the beautiful spring collections of ModaScrap.

I love the colors and beautiful delicate motifs. Especially in the extra long paper rolls I fell in love right away. Because often the papers are too short for the cover of a mini album. And you have to divide the book cover into several parts. With the extra long paper, I was able to create the book cover in one piece. I think it looks very classy. And also very high quality due to the structure of the paper. I will definitely have to get more rolls like this.

I created a total of 6 slip-in albums measuring 3 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches. The spine of the book is 3/4 inch wide. I then covered the gray cardstock pieces with the textured paper in one piece. For this it is best to work a large mat with a long ruler and cutting knife.

Once the book cover is covered, it's time for the insert pockets in the album. For this you choose 4 papers, which you cut and fold as follows:

In addition, you will need 1 small pocket that will be glued to the bottom of the first large pocket. The dimensions are as follows:

Here are some more pictures, how the pockets turns out:

Now glue the pockets together. Turn the pockets over and use the edge of the bottom pocket as a guide. When you have glued all 4 large pockets together, the small pocket is glued to the first large pocket.

Now glue the pockets together into the album. Yay, the blank pocket mini is finished. You can close the album with a ribbon or with a rubber band. To do this, punch a hole with the Crop-A-Dile in the center of the lower part of the book cover. Thread both ends of the rubber from above through the hole. Now make sure that the length of the gum fits. And then the rubber is attached by setting the eyelet.

Finally, you can decorate and fill your scrapbook with anything you like. I have small pendants, a mini album, tea bags and small confetti bags stuck in it. I will use the stocking albums as a gift idea.

If you have any questions, feel free to write me :)

Thank you so much for looking. Love greetings, Steffi
