SOFT & SWEET

Its Marie here for one last card post for ModaScrap. I have absolutely loved being on the team and working with ModaScrap’s amazing crafty products! For today’s card, I used some of their new papers and dies to create a soft and sweet card.

I started today’s card by taking some of ModaScrap’s new patterned papers and tearing it to leave some raw edges. Then, I sewed a few lines down this torn paper before adhering it to my white card base.

Have you ever sewn on paper? If not, give it a try! I love adding some stitched details to cards!

After I had my torn paper layer adhered to my card, I added the die cut square at an angle, and then added some die cut leaves from some more soft colored paper from ModaScrap. It was so easy to embellish this card by using some of the die cuts that coordinate with the patterned paper, and the sentiment strips that I simply cut out and added with foam adhesive.

I also added some of ModaScrap’s little flat-backed pearls as embellishments to finish off this card. I love the soft and sweet look I was able to get with these patterns and colors!
