TRIANGLE ADVENT CALENDAR

Hello creative!

For those who want to get on with Christmas, today I propose an advent calendar made using the "Bon Bon Box" boxes die. To make it, I was inspired by the wooden ones that are often seen on Christmas stalls.

It is simply a row of 24 boxes aligned with each other and a box that acts as a “cursor” that will be moved day by day to indicate the box to be opened.

The wooden original is a long single piece, but I preferred to divide it into 4 sections of 6 boxes each in order to be able to place it more easily at home as you see fit and it is also easier to make!

To start I created the 25 boxes (24 days + 1 "cursor" marking the day) using the "Bon Bon Box" die and the Double Face Paper "Pastel Blue", "Pastel Strawberry", "Wild Flowers 06", "Wild Flowers 03 ”and obviously the “Woodstock Cardstock White”. I closed them with glue leaving only the back part open through which I will put the candies.

For the numbers I used the “Giant Alphabet” die and on the “cursor” box I added a house and a 3d tree made with the “Christmas Charms” die.

To make the 4 bases on which to glue the 24 boxes, I used for each 5 pieces of "Vegetable Cardboard 1.5 mm" measuring 23.6 x 7.4 cm glued one on top of the other. At this point I coated the piece with Double Face Pastel Strawberry paper, you need:

- 2 pieces of 9.4 x 2.8 cm (fold at 1 cm on each side) for the side parts;

- 1 piece measuring 23.6 x 11cm (fold at 1cm along the two long sides) for the top;

- 1 piece of 23.5 x 7.3cm for the bottom.

Finally, just glue the 24 boxes to the bases and the advent calendar is done!

Now you just have to fill it with sweets and candies and decide where and how to place it! Good fun!
