WINTER STAR BOXES

I have a new project to share with you today, showcasing the amazing Surprise Star Box die set and the lovely Winter Time Die Cut set, two of my favorite products from the latest ModaScrap Christmas Release.

To begin I created the star boxes using the Surprise Star Box set. I die-cut the box bases out of two beautiful patterned paper sheets from the Paper Pack Wanderlust 12x12” and the star-shaped decorative element out of white cardstock.

Then, I thought of customizing the star-shaped decorations a bit and used the die designed for the box rear opening to die-cut a window out of them and mounted them on my star boxes using foam tape for dimension. I also added a Vellum Foils Hexagons Holographics between the box and the star-shaped layer to provide the perfect pop of interest and extra depth.

Next, I die-cut a bunch of branches and leaves out of several shades of green card stock, using the dies from the Christmas Branches set along with some Pastel Green, Pastel Light Sage, Pastel Deep Sage and Pastel Pine card stock.

I finished off these cute boxes by adding a couple of adorable critters from the Winter Time Die Cut set on their front along with some branches and two sentiment strips from the Buon Compleanno Gold & Silver set.
