WINTER THEMED ART JOURNAL PAGE

Hi everyone!

It's Laura here and today I am back with a video showing how to make a winter themed art journal page, featuring the Big Snowflake die and the Snowflakes stencil.

For the background of the page I used Dylusion Paints and a Gel Plate. I used the colors White Linen, Blue Lagoon and Laidback Lilac and pulled the print with some collage paper.

I then tore the paper in pieces ad adhered them to my Dylusions Art Journal. To add detail to the background, I created some snowflakes with the Snowflakes Stencil and Fluffy in Brilliant White.

I also stamped images from the Fiocco di Neve stamp set on the background. I used a turquoise ink for a subtle tone on tone effect.

I then die cut two snowflakes out of some white cardstock and glued them to my page. I coated the entire page with Multi Medium Matte and, once it was completely dry, I added accents with my Faber Castell Pitt Pens.

I created some splatters with Dylusion Paints and a white Gloss Spray and then moved on to the quote. I die cut some black cardstock with the Funny Alphabet die and formed the quote Let It Snow. I added some shading to it with a purple Faber Castell Pitt Pen and some highlight with a white acrylic paint.
